Brompton - Folding Bikes
A folding bike is a bicycle designed to fold into a compact form, making them ideal for storing in small homes or flats, taking camping or caravanning, carrying into buildings and workplaces or onto public transportation
Folding bikes usually have small wheels, an easy folding mechanism and lightweight making it easy to carry them on and off buses or trains. Due to the small wheels folders tend to feature wider tires and may offer front or rear suspension.
Folding bikes are sometimes referred to as folders.
