GoCycle - Electric Bikes

An electric bike is a bicycle with an electric motor used to power the vehicle. Electric bikes use rechargeable batteries and can travel up to speeds of 20 miles per hour (24 to 32 km/h). They are very cost effective and environmentally friendly, making them perfect for commuting, ideal for riding in hilly areas, and carrying shopping bags. You will be less tired and sweaty when you get into work than if you used a standard push bike.

In the United Kingdom electric bicycles are classed as standard bicycles providing the motor's power output does not exceed 250W and cuts out once the bike reaches 15 mph. It must also be under 40 kg. This means the rider does not require a license to use them, however riders must be of at least 14 years of age.

An electric bike is sometimes referred to as an e-bike, urban mover bike or pedelec.

GoCycle is the multi award winning lightweight electirc bike from Karbon Kenetics Ltd. The iconic electric commuter bike, with it's sleek design and pioneering technology, has been developed with city professionals in mind.

Not only can you pedal Gocycle but you can also activate Gocycle’s on-demand power at the touch of a button. A motor discreetly hidden in the cycle’s front hub allows the rider to quickly reach 15mph and travel for up to 20 miles on a single charge depending on pedal input.
